One last, optional question
South Africa's elections were shaped by who was allowed to vote. Under apartheid, people were classified by race, and in the 1992 referendum only white South Africans could vote.
Like Stats SA's census and professional pollsters, we ask about population group only to see broad patterns, never to label anyone. Answers are only ever shown as rounded percentages for large groups, on a separate page.
It's entirely optional. Skip it if you prefer.
